The McHayashi’s would like you to join us in celebrating the merging of our last names! (That’s how marriage works, right??)
The festivities will be taking place the weekend of October 18 -20, 2024 at Misty Clover Farm located near Port Townsend, WA. The ceremony and reception will occur on Saturday October 19, 2024.
Children are invited to the ceremony and dinner, however we ask that they make other plans after dessert. (It will be assumed that any child still around after cake is there to party, in which case, the Bride and Groom will personally hold their legs for a keg stand)
Dress code: We are not having a specific dress code, we would love if everyone wears something they feel good in! However, the venue is outside and will require walking on grass in areas. It will also be October so please prepare for the temperature to cool down at night (sunset is around 6:15 pm then).
Getting there:
From Seattle (~2.5 hours): We recommend taking the Edmonds-Kingston ferry to avoid driving South and around through Tacoma. The ferry is a first come-first serve loading (no reservations) so please plan accordingly.

From Victoria (~3 hours): We recommend taking the Black Ball Coho ferry from downtown Victoria to Port Angeles.

From Victoria passenger only to Seattle (~3 hours): If you’re able to get a ride from Seattle to the venue, the Clipper ferry is a passenger only ferry from downtown Victoria to downtown Seattle.
